How to Submit Your Case

We love seeing all the unique ways AI models can go "fried," and we want to hear your story! Follow the steps below to submit your case for publication on FriedGPT:

Step 1: Case Description

Provide a clear and concise description of your AI mishap. Include the following details:

  • Context: What was the AI model supposed to do? (e.g., generate legal citations, translate a phrase, answer a question)
  • Issue: What went wrong? Be as specific as possible about the error or mismatch (e.g., generated a fictional legal case, misunderstood a simple instruction).
  • Outcome: How did the error impact the task? Did it result in something funny, confusing, or concerning?

Step 2: Include a Screenshot (Optional)

If possible, attach a screenshot or a snippet of the AI's output. Visuals help the community better understand and appreciate the context of your submission.

Step 3: Why It’s Interesting or Funny

Explain why you think this AI mishap is noteworthy or amusing. What makes it stand out? Is there a lesson or a humorous takeaway from the experience?

Step 4: Your Contact Information (Optional)

While not required, you can include your name, email, or social media handles if you'd like us to credit you or get in touch about your submission.

Example Submission

Context: I asked ChatGPT to summarize Argentina’s World Cup wins.
Issue: It claimed Argentina won only one World Cup in 1986, completely missing the 1978 victory.
Outcome: This inconsistency caused confusion as I was relying on the AI to settle a sports debate with a friend.
Why It’s Funny: For an AI that can write entire essays, missing such a major fact in sports history was both hilarious and frustrating!
